A small Christian school in Hoboken, NJ is attracting attention for its progressive integration of fine arts, worship, and community service. The success of its intentional mission to the urban poor defies the economic model that typifies many Christian schools.
Since the production of art is integral to the Mustard Seed's educational identity, a half-hour documentary about the school's unique teaching techniques might reasonably include segments shot (or even animated) by students themselves under the tutelage of the film's director.
Director Brian Fuller is currently seeking three student crew members to accompany him to Hoboken, NJ (5 miles from Manhattan/Chinatown) for a three-week shoot over interim in January 2010. Application details available at brianfuller.org/mustardseed.
