Saw a lot of boats I recognize there - an olson, hunter, etc.
Questions:
1. What was your 'film' settings: contrast, saturation, brightness, noise reduction, sharpness?
2. What was your iExposure setting?
3. What were the ISO and aperture settings? The shot was done outdoors. Was the iso set to 50 and the aperture stopped down?
Thanks,
David
I found later I forgot to switch OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer?) off while using tripod, that may cause not very smooth panning and slight image fluctuation at high magnification shots.
It was the day after the day I got this toy.
It would be nice to determine if altering the camera settings can rectify that. iExposurewould affect crushed blacks. The noise reduction setting and the sharpness setting may impact the level of detail. The sharpness setting may also impact the specular highlights.
Thank you for posting,
David
P.S.
Corrected a wrong word...
I will be learning GH1 by projects for the time being.
1)Optical stabilizer of the kit lens should be off for the tripod shooting
2)Panning should be slower in the 1080/24p mode
3)ND filter should be used to control EV for shot with Canon FD lens in case of full open aperture.
