I have a foot in two different worlds and I live between those worlds. I have an active, heavily-populated social life (though I've been lying low over the past couple of years during my recovery), and I have an active, heavily-populated spiritual, metaphysical world where I work. Both worlds think the other one is a bit strange; my social world thinks my spiritual world is just "out there," and my spiritual world sometimes can't make sense of my having such an active, goofy, playful social life. Many people from my social world have asked me to explain what I do for a living, so this is my attempt at that response... and I still sound whacko, lol.

I absolutely love how frank you are in this vid. I think it's a very positive way to approach something that I think frightens most people. So glad I caught this today..

We still gotta get together! Hellooooo we're in the same city and I haven't seen you since last year at the meet up...

Thanks, Dan!! Being candid, sincere, and honest are very important to me, even when it might mean being extremely vulnerable. I also think it's helpful for people who question or dismiss this kind of work because someone on the "inside" is exploring it as seriously as possible and looking for tangible validation.

And yes, Dan... I will not be ignored. (if you know what that line references, you get an extra hug when we hang out.) So let's make a plan already!
