Shot this Monday at La Caille and my good friend Chris McClain from Chris McClain Productions came along and and had some fun with us. Had so many people asking for us to post this, that we put together a little teaser. The 5D is soooo amazing! Four shots from the EX1 but the rest is 5DM2.

Impressive!! As good of a 5D clip as I've seen. You seem to really have a handle on how to get the most out of it.

Thanks Tony. This was my first shoot with anything wedding related. It's a challenge, but the results are so much different than I have been doing and I'm lovin' it.

Nice images David. Are you preferring the 5DMKII to a traditional camcorder?
  • David Perry plus 5 months ago
Absolutely prefer this to a traditional camcorder. However, a traditional camcorder is best in run and gun situations where it is absolutely crucial you get every shot - at least until I get a better handle on this camera. The new manual controls help a lot. In the past month, I've used the 5D at every wedding expect two so I'm forcing myself to learn quickly. Best case scenerio is two or more 5Ds then you get the killer shots and don't miss anything.

I love the 5DMK2 but I have to be honest, I'm looking forward the GH1 to see what it can do. It's more of a real world camera from what I can tell and hopefully it's easier to edit.

    That's what I am thinking.
