Rene Coupee and his wife Yvonne are Town Criers from Almelo in the Netherlands. Not just any old run-of-the-mill town criers, but one of only 5 in the Netherlands who are approved to announce official events (by the order of Orange) and is the official herald to the Mayor of Hellendorn.
He organized the last European competition of Town Criers, has "cried" for royalty and travels the world crying, competing and having fun.
