In this introductory episode, Eddie Wilson, proprietor of Threadgills and founder of the Armadillo World Headquarters, waxes poetic on 'the good 'ol days'.
The video starts as a drive just north of downtown on Guadalupe St on 'The UT Drag'. Guadalupe St is the original northern route in and out of Austin. Eddie remembers it as a child growing up at Kenneth Threadgills fillin' station - Old No. 1 - the Good 'ol Days.
