I bought my first apartment Christmas tree this year [that Josh talked about at the beginning of the season](joshlay.tumblr.com/post/20823906). Now with Christmas drawing to a close, it was time to take it down so my dad and I did the honors. It's much better and less depressing doing this with other people so you can transform your home back to normal, non-holiday mode and still have human interaction, and you're not just staring at the blank space where your tree just stood. Transition is important folks.

I took the ornaments and lights off while dad wrapped and boxed the ornaments. Watch around :30 where I knock over a glass and spend the next few minutes, still on the phone with Carrie, cleaning up glass and liquid.
