Kees Plattel, Joost Plattel and me created a proof of concept of "De stand van de stad" in just 5 hours. The idea behind this is to be able to easily map dynamic and static data on a 3D object lika a building. We've started with static data in a public google docs spreadsheet.
How it works:
1. The data needs to be in a public Google Docs spreadsheet with a standard structure
2. A Python script converts the spreadsheet to json
3. Quartz composer reads the json, creates diagrams and displays the metadata
4. Resolume Arena is used to map the data to any 3D object
