Moving Image Theory. Hue Saturation Luminance is a model of digital colour that enables smaller files sizes than the RGB model, and is the basis of the JPG image. HSL is missing from the UK National Curriculum. So this video was made by Oxford Digital Video when we created Digital Video for Teachers and videos for pupils to understand the mechanics of moving image theory.
This set of videos use elements within the National Curriculum to show HOW TO make videos. We also produced HOW TO ASSESS videos. The videos are also suitable for beginners. I hope this helps ronbelshaw.co.uk........We have put more tutorial videos here on Vimeo. Namely PIXEL and HSL a video explaination of the Hue Saturation and Luminance model.
