Murphy Mae, my two year old golden retriever, refused to get back into the car early this spring morning. She knew I was going walking for my turns and she was demanding that she get to go. The lines were the biggest she had seen in her short two year old life, and I was not sure she was ready to step up from the meadow skipping we had been skiing together all season.
