The Montrose ride runs year round out of Pasadena. There are two parts to it for most people. The front part -- from Pasadena to Glendora. And the back part -- from Glendora to Sierra Madre. The back part is fast with lots of rollers and a few decent consequential uphill sections. This clip comes from the back part as it runs through the town of Bradbury. There are a couple of power climbs in this section and the group typically splits. This was an above average effort as I work my way from mid-pack to the front in an effort to catch a small group who got away before we entered this section (unsuccessful in the end). My average watts were 267 over the 4:46 in this section. My average speed was 23.6 and average heart rate was 179. A decent effort but hardly inside out (compared to vimeo.com/43350830).
