Thursday after noon at around 5:30PM, I dragged my kid around our area and said, quick learn the chorus part of this song I just found and let's do a video for mother's day. LOL! By thursday night, this is what we had. It took me until 3AM to finish it though. Anyway we showed it to her and she was in tears. I think she is warming up to the idea of my buying gadgets like the 5d Mark II. What really made the shots easy, again is the Singh Ray VariND filter to get the proper aperture I wanted to use.

Ronnie, your 5kmk2 stuff is looking great congratulations ive been following your progress since the hv20 and 35mm adapter.. The Indoor stuff is very good, im glad the 5d is performing.
My 35mm +hv20 is still going well, ive been so tempted with the 5dmk2 but im still enjoying my hv20 with pentax lenses, but i think a limitation i have is with wide angle i cant use anything other than a fast EF lens with my adapter which i just dont have.so im stuck with 50mm 1.4 or a 28mm f2 HOYA which on the focussing screen just isnt wide, and cant compete with that great wide spacious shot of your son singing inside "low light indoor test" plus it has DOF! :)

Thanks Oli. I appreciate the encouragement as we all learn these things. It's always fun to talk to someone who speaks the same language and has the same passion. Yeah, the 5D definitely gave me a little more freedom on shooting indoors with available light. I still use my HV20. It still rocks! What I ended up doing with the HV20 was that I took the 35mm adapter off when I wanted wide angle shots or need to fly the camera around the subject so I didn't have to worry about focus then used the adaptor for closer shots taking advantage of wider aperture settings. Thanks for the comments and looking forward to seeing more of your stuff as well.
