Plus rien (Nothing)

There are only a few minutes to my life
At most a few hours, I feel that I weaken
My brother died yesterday in the desert
I am now the last human of the earth

I have been described previously, when I was a child
That the world who seemed a very long time ago
When my parents lived great-grandfather
And it fell more snow in winter

In those days we lived with the seasons
And late summer brought the harvest
A pure and limpid water flowing in streams
Whence came to drink deer and moose

But I only saw a desolate planet
Lunar landscapes and suffocating heat
And all my friends die of thirst or hunger
As fall flies ...
Until there is nothing ...
Nothing ...
Nothing ...

There are only a few minutes to my life
At most a few hours, I feel that I weaken
My brother died yesterday in the desert
I am now the last human of the earth

This all started several years there has
While my ancestors were obsessed
By pieces of paper money was called
Which made some really rich and powerful men

And these new gods no inhibitions
Were desperate to get their way
To further enrich the soil they shaved
Polluted ambient air and drying up the rivers

But after a hundred years people have risen
And warned them that everything had to stop
But they did not understand this wise prophecy
These men spoke only in terms of profit

It is years later they saw the nonsense
In the panic declared a state of emergency
When all the oceans have engulfed the islands
And floods that have hit major cities

And thereafter for a decade
It was then hurricanes and fires
Earthquakes and drought
Everywhere we read on the faces of distress

People had to fight against pandemics
Decimated by diseases million by atrocious
Then the other died of thirst or hunger
As fall flies ...
Only thing up there is nothing ...
Nothing ...
Nothing ...
