Back in 2004 and 2005 (before YouTube), I was experimenting with what was then a pretty new form of media: Vlogging.  I had a Sony CyberShot camera that I'd point at myself while driving, ramble stream of consciousness banality for a minute or two, and then post it without cuts or edits.  I posted about 20 of them at my old site, Nickerblog (including the one that gave birth to the word "Hawesome!").  In May 2005, a run-in with a tabloid briefly turned hundreds of thousands of unexpected eyes on my blog, and it effectively killed my desire to share my writing and weird little videoblogs with the world.  I quickly pulled down most of the old "vlogs," and Nickerblog never quite recovered.  Now, for the few people that will understand the context (and of course, for my own amusement) I'm digging back into the old archives and posting some of the vlogs that still make me laugh and/or cringe, and some that never made it to "air."  The one here never got posted.  It's from JULY 18, 2005...
