Ahsley Adams has lived on his property, Daracourt, outside Blackall in Western Queensland, all his life.

Shooting was something he picked up at a young age. He has always had a good eye and this didn't change when he had a motorbike accident in his twenties, leaving him in a wheel chair.

If anything, this change in his life bought him closer to his sport. He has won numerous medals at the paralympic games, as well as claiming the title of able bodied Australian shooting champion for the 22 rifle event.

At the paralympics Ashley competes in the 22 rifle and air rifle events.

He is currently gearing up for the 2012 games. While doing this he also runs a fully operating cattle station, combining his two main passions in life.

Thank you very much to Amy Phillips for her help at the shoot.
