The Door - performance animation

A performance piece animation. Definitely a very unusual and experimental concept, and I decided to play with the idea of what kind of weird surprises could come out of a mysterious door.

Medium: 2d animation projected with an LCD projector.

For Advanced 2d Animation class at MICA, May 2009. Performed at Cafe Doris/Decker Gallery in Fox building on the morning of 5/7/09 - it was definitely much better live. =) Please excuse my imperfect acting, this turned out to be more of a rough take (with lots of room for refinement), but overall it went really well. Thanks to Laurence Arcadias, for coming up with this absurd idea of a project and inspiring me to follow through with it.
