Dress rehearsal of the contemporary dance production SPECTRUM at the NTG theatre in Ghent. Choreography by Mioko Yoshihara.

Filmed with Lumix TZ7 compact photo/video camera in 'intelligent auto' mode. AVCHD lite 1280x720. No corrections (color, gamma, ...) applied.

    Great video. Shows how good the exposure system is.
    Seems like your editing program is re sampling though. I see lots of ghosting, especially at the beginning.
    Was this Vegas? If so you need to de select Smart resample. You will get smoother output.

    Oh, and its 1280 x 720 ;-)

    Hi Dave,
    Yes Vegas Pro 8c and if I remember correctly I applied the script 'flickerbuddy' to set the events on timeline properties to 'disable resample'. Perhaps the rendering to h264 discards these settings. I'll check.

    I guess it could also be because the TZ7 used a slow shutter giving a smear in fast movement. The conversion in exposureroom.com seems to be better than the vimeo.

    Ah right. I didnt know you could get a script to do this. Ill have to look in to that as its a right pain haivng to keep remembering to turn it off. Thankss for that.
    I can still see the ghosting on your Exposureroom version but like you say, it could be in the original anyway.
    Still, its a great pice of footage.

    Multi-select events on the timeline and run Flickerbuddy with the option 'selected events' en 'disable resampling'

    thx. This Lumix really is a gem. I have it with me all the time now to shoot video. I just love the lens from 25mm wide angle to 300mm tele.
