Under Pressure is a multimedia project whose goal is to explore the effects of health and social policies across Europe on people with Multiple Sclerosis.
Photographers Walter Astrada, Lurdes R. Basolí, Maximiliano Braun, Fernando Moleres and Carlos Spottorno have shot in 14 european countries, meeting and following about 40 people with MS in their everyday life. They interviewed them, their relatives, doctors and nurses.
In the coming months several short audiovisual pieces based on the most significant profiles will be produced, and put together on a multimedia plattform.
This trailer explains the basic idea behind the project: how would it be if all the people with Multiple Sclerosis had the same opportunities in terms of health and social policies?
The ultimate goal of this project is to inform both the general public and the policy makers about what is the real situation of people with MS and what can be solved simply by applying good policies.
