I would call this video the most stupid and entertaining short film ever! It's impressing how you managed to make a story from such a banal thing as climbing some old stairs. I loved it.

    Hi,
I love your humourous describing the meditaive path
and the way you led us through the different stages.
Besides, the stairs are really lovely, make me want to
    go there.

these are a lovely bunch of stairs, and a great video. I will be moving to Portland soon, may i ask where these wonderful stairs are so that i may seek enlightenment??
  • Orland Nutt plus 7 months ago
you might try the book "Portland Hill Walks" by Laura Foster, most stairs depicted here are mentioned in the book.

This made me giggle and my eyes widen.
Also, are these effects mostly due to your editing software or your equipment?

    Details!
  • Orland Nutt plus 6 months ago
effects were created in after effects, using many plugs from the sapphire plugins package, particularly pscycho stripes and zebrafy color.

Ah I've heard a lot of good things about after effects but haven't tried it out yet.
I will now though! Thanks a bunch
