This is beautiful. Can I ask, are you typically using two video tracks and then adjusting the opacity and coloring, because each image looks so clear as if the opacity is 100%?

i used compositing modes in fcp...

Wow! If you did this in 1080p HD, you could sell these shots at artbeats.com.... very nice... however, as a 1 note mood video - A. However as something building to a climax - D. It doesn't - you could re-edit - get a song that builds and then cut faster, add flash frames, darken contrast... do day for night on the same shots... add thunder in soundtrack... make it rock... but thats my 2 cents...

I've seen it many times and I could keep on watching a few shots for minutes: the first one of water and clouds; the second one of water, stone and light; the wave under the mountains...

Very interesting use of dissolves. Some of the shots I would have liked to have seen with out dissolves. I liked the star filter shot too. Seemed in places to be a bit over produced. The music is a good choice. All in all very nice, a lot of work that came together in the edit bay.

    Kindest and sincerest warm regards,

Thanks for passing this to me... To answer your question.. Yes, I do love this! I especially loved seeing the fiddle heads opening! Great footage with that!! Woohoo! Being so short lived in that stage of growth, you ought to win some kind of award capturing it! All in all ..I liked the effects you displayed.. contrary perhaps to some. The music score a great choice.. It was rather gripping while watching the film! Kudos to you of course!

It's not the filters or the compositing. It's the simply brilliant choices of texture rhythm and motion on your work.
