3 days in Montreal, Canada with an iPhone 4 mounted on a Tiffen Steadicam Smoothee that I hacked to work with the Schneider Optics fisheye iPro lens.

In order to get the iPro case to fit onto the Smoothee, the top and bottom right section of the iphone mount on the smoothee had to be sawed off. Afterwards, industrial velcro was applied to the back of the iPro case and the steadicam mount, keeping the iPhone "stuck" to the mount when shooting, but removable when necessary.

Finally, a thick rubber band and a short amount of bicycle tubing was attached to the bottom weight on the Smoothee in order to get the unit to balance properly due to the slight weight increase on top.

The video was shot on the iOS native camera app and was not colour corrected in editing.

As a note, does anyone know the name of the drum group in the video? Here's a close-up of their logo. I've tried googling this name but haven't been able to find anything. - cl.ly/image/0q3i2p3E3L0r
