Damn. I bought a shotgun mike just before I heard about the Sennheiser, That Lite is cool though. I need a bright compact one for the cruise.

Any test done to determine what the continuous light time is?

1.5 Hour run time on four standard AA batteries. Runs longer with unit dimmed.

Thanks for the reply. I saw your site, cool site. I bookmarked for future purchase of the Litepanel Micro. This is exactly what I'm looking for. Lightweight enough for the Merlin/HV20 setup.

    Guy,

Can you link me to where I can possibly by that camera bracket you use in this demo? I need something like this for my DVX100A. I recently bought the Rode Videomic and I'm very pleased with it so far. This sennheiser might just be the trick for the HV20 when I get one.

It's called the "Delvcam LCD Monitor Hot Shoe Mount and Extension Arm Combo" in case the link doesn't bring you to the right page. It's over at dvcreators.net/?s=hama

That is the Countryman B3 lav going through the Sennheiser Evolution G2 wireless. We sell 'em both in the dvestore.com website

Im sorry if this is a very stupid question but how do you connect both the light and the mic? It seems that they both are connected by the hot shoe. However the link you gave above shows the Hama as a product which attaches to the hot shoe, replaces that hot shoe with another one on top of it but at the end of the bracket its some sort of screw like thing. So how do you then attach the mike?

Both the Mic and the Light have 1/4-20 threads, just like the bottom of your camera. Its the same 1/4" as most tripods.
