The Provo Bros' videos
This is my entry for an online video contest to win a $20,000 sponsorship from Coast body wash. This is all original 5D Mark II footage created by myself during the 08/09 winter season. It was hard and time consuming capturing these clips but always worth it in the end.

    I used a 15mm fisheye. The camera was mounted using a skydiving helmet.

    Awesome vid man - Headin out to Jackson Hole this winter, probably will take my MK2 with also. Did you use manual settings for the video? If so, what shutter speed did you have it set for?

    actually this was all filmed with automatic settings. Manual control wasn't released till the spring.

    Incredible footage. Most of it would stand as excellent stills, much less video.

    What did you use to stabilize the 5Dii. Looks like it was on a ski, but did you use some sort of a steadicam on it?

    thanks! no stabilizer was used. I'm simply holding the camera.

    Sick edit. Dope lines. I recognize a lot of locations in there. That last line is one of my favorite zones. Some of the best looking POV stuff I have seen. Keep on killing it!

    Hey man - Just wanted to say again how awesome this is. I'm heading out to Jackson Hole in 2 weeks and will be shooting some video out there with my 5DMK2. It wont be any POV stuff unless I can figure out a way to mount it. Is there any way you could either send me an email, or post a link to an image that shows the mount? Or just give a few details about the setup?
