Mayor Sam Adams hosts the grand opening of the new “Hooley” pedestrian and bike bridge over Interstate 5 in Southwest Portland. The 700-foot long bridge is adjacent to the aerial tram and reconnects the historic Lair Hill neighborhood to the Willamette River and South Waterfront District. It is named after former US Congresswoman Darlene Hooley whose work was pivotal in completing the project.
