Digintern pronounced 'didg'intern, as not to play off Kevin's baby. Also, this should become a regular, or simply more regular broadcast.

At first when I looked at it I thought the name was Dirt Salad and I thought it was genius, hah. When I realized it was actually Glenn's blog, I was pretty bummed. You should definitely use something cool and organic along those lines though.

How about Stuff and Nonsense for a name?

Cool episode, been using thesixtyone, blip.fm and jamlegend for a while now. All pretty sweet, wish I could get my hands on Foursquare but I think it will be a while before they expand to Australia. As for Pandora, not sure if I can be bothered trying to fool them about where I live.

Anyway guys, keep it up, hope to see more episodes soon.

I couldn't remember where I'd seen Tim Ferris from, but finally remembered, he's the guy from the TED talk. Which, by the way, was part of an exam question on my organizational behavior final.

my internet name is stanstatic and I always thought a good band name would be stanstatic and the eclectics. but this show is eclectic check out its definition. so how about something along this line of thinking.

"Tropic Topics", "Relax", "Sit back and relax by Tim and Kevin", "the good life", "What bigshots worry about", "random tips by Kevin and Tim", "Thinking out loud", are the first few that come to mind

I kinda like "Thinking Out Loud" or "Thinking Out Loud by Kevin and Tim"

Digintern, like 'didg'intern, 'dig'intern seems a little one sided with Kevin's portfolio. Since you're my mentors, and I assume many others', I thought this name applied.

    Random Edge
    The TKev Show

Although the conversation was not scripted the ideas products were well marshaled into a clear cogent conversation. Well done.
SOme "header notes" might be helpful.
I might also suggest that you learn to make a knife together with a master . It is hard work and very satisfying .I am certain you can get one of the companies to wink you in .
Cool stuff I may be coming back to you with some new ideas as well.
thanks for your input I am in Israel off the grid sometimes and that is fine by me

Awesome, I love these, keep doing them!

I also wanted to ask what the finger clips for measuring various body metrics that Kevin was talking about are called. Does anyone know?

  • AIM 6 months ago
you should call it "Diggable Planet" and you should include a short bio or personal story and tie it in with tech/products.
  •
  • Tom K 6 months ago
Call it 'Willy Qurich', which sounds like the Dutch word for 'random', 'willekeurig'. Fucking awesome.

Good to see Kevin as the business adult that he's become. Diggnation's great (seriously, I used to sponsor the show) but it's for a different/younger audience and purpose. Tim Ferriss is great off the pages of his book (nice too that he hasn't got the grating voice of the narrator he used for the Audible version of 4HWW).

As to names, really nowhere to go but up from here. Can't be certain what the core topic will remain but how about:
    1) Two Guys, a camera and a Hippie
    2) Entrepreneurish
    3) Bootstrapping

Love the show, but it needs a new name. My suggestion "Angel Thought". You are both Angel Investors and this show is a giant thought bubble.. but any name will be better than "random" :D

Enjoy your chats. Maybe call these "Little Brothers' Brave New World Show" - since you're young enough to be my little brothers and you're all about how exciting it is that technology invades our lives in fun ways... do we really want GPS tracking our every move? It's a younger generation's enthusiastic embrace of what Aldous Huxley warned us about!

And, what's up with Vimeo - I let the video completely load and it still skips and spits and hiccups, which makes it tedious to stay with the video, in spite of how interesting you guys are! Can Vimeo remedy this or is it a problem with my computer?

You could call it At Random, or Random Things, or Et Cetera if you want to use Latin, maybe Miscellaneous, or the German Und So Weiter (USW).
