This is one in a three spot campaign we did to air during the Olympics. Shot with an AF-100 and Lumix 20mm Pancake lens. To monitor the shot a SmallHD DP6 was attached to the rig with a Noga arm.
To stabilize the camera I used a Manfroto Fig Rig. This was the first time I’ve used the Fig Rig and that device was perfect for this shoot. I had to walk side to side holding the rig in front of me. The first day we shot for 5.5 hours. This style would have been impossible to shoot on the shoulder with a rig. The camera would have been heavy and awkward bouncing way to much.

The style of the spot is more documentary than promo. I let some of the backgrounds blow out carefully. I like the look but not when blown out areas turn into an ugly color. I came pretty close. Some times you got to live dangerous. :)
