Steadicam Merlin w/35mm adapter & HV20 (Snow, just snow)
It's quite a challenge to achieve these shots. I have to learn to balance the Merlin from scratch. I also have to trim the Merlin every time I adjust focus. The focal distance is at 50mm which amplifies the shake.
The image on the LCD is upside down...and lastly, it is -16C outside.
It's really the wind that affects the balance of the Steadicam.
P mode. No color correction. Everything set in Auto (except focus of course)

It's about 200g.
thanks
that Merlin is just a blessing! although its SO Expensive [800$?] its still affordable for consumers...somehow :] upgrading your work in like 10 level up! :]
did u use twixtor there, btw? :]
It's at 24p on normal speed. No slow MOs
so how much does the Merlin goes for, these days? more or less?
oh..and p.s-what is it really that u have to master, at first, when u start using it? what happens if an untrained cameraman-uses the Merlin for the first time?
1st, learn the concepts (the laws of physics & gravity), then practice. It takes at least a week to master it.
