The Wrong Picture with the tagline "...but the right sound" was shot for the Rode Rockumentary Contest. I used Canon 550D, 18-135 mm Lens, to shoot this video. I used natural light through out but for only one shot of Ankita's Close up where we used a small LED light. We were a 3 member cast and crew (2 actors and me). We shot this video on Sunday 29 July 2012 in an hour and half when we traveled from Necklace Road to Lingampally and back in the MMTS Train (Hyderabad, India). I edited it, added background images (of Philip Bloom), sourced background music and got it into this final copy. I used Final Cut Pro X for editing. Actually, we were to shoot this video in a coffee shop but the gentleman conveniently said sorry on Saturday at 9 PM. God's will was that we have a better production value so we ended up in a moving train. The best part is that me and Phani met (in person) Ankita for the very first time that morning. All is Well that ends Well :).
Last but the not the least, Philip Bloom, Ryan Koo and all other independent / DIY / DSLR film makers, please take a bow for sharing your valuable knowledge with us.
Cheers - Arun Meegada.
