This is beautiful, clean, clear explanation of Compression. The only problem with your elegant work is that the general population will understand complex concepts like this. Before the popularity of the internet, compression was a huge part of my life. I appreciate Bob Orban - a man that made it possible to do all of those voiceover parts, fix the timing of audio sequences without changing pitch because the human ear is like the human eye described in your presentation - what's missing isn't always noticeable. Because of your gift of making the complicated simple, the world will be a better place because more people will find the opportunity to affect the world with hope through sharing content that really matters. This might begin other trends like adding useful classes like basic economics to primary and secondary schools. Teenagers will create a trend that makes going in debt to buy things like clothes, a car... even a house will be taboo, leading to a debt-free world. Such trends would create real progress toward permanently solving problems of the world using reason, logic and simplicity. Suddenly, young ones labeled A-D-H-D or A-D-D would be honored for being true geniuses of the world. Ineffective standardized testing which measures ones ability to temporarily memorize content and do boring repetitive tasks will be changed into measurements of ones ability to create what solves the world's problems. When its revealed that energy comes clean and free of charge from the infrared air, you and your team just might get credit for starting simplifying the education project that changed the world.
