This is the footage from a commercial I directed for the Florida Marlins. I filmed it with the Canon 5D Mark II using Nikon lenses and a Redrock Micro Follow Focus. I used mixed lighting, including HMI and tungsten. I recorded audio separately with an M-Audio Micro Track II. The constant re-setting of the exposure lock on the camera is a pain in the rear, but the camera gives a creamy image. Please Canon give us manual control.

I forgot to mention, you are seeing the full wide screen version. I cropped the sides for 4:3 on the final spot. So the stuff happening on the edges was cut.

Did you use just reflectors or was there a lighting setup also?
    It looks fantastic.

It might be a pain in the rear but you sure did a fine job of the keeping the images nicely exposed.

    Great work thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the props guys. On some shots we used reflectors, some mixed hmi with reflectors. I used the camera's LCD for composing. The lenses used were all Nikkor: 50 f1.4, 85 f1.4, 105 f1.8, 180 f2.8. I used an ND9 filter on some of the brightest shots so I can stay open.

nice job, all static with no movement of camera and very little movement inside the frame. This is where the 5D shines.
Based on user comments why would he need to do a 24p timeline (almost zero movement in frame), keep it 30p. There is no advantage to going 24p here...none!
