Pie in the Sky was created as part of the 2003 Boston 48 Hour Film Project. Inspired by StartUp.com and our experience in the Internet industry, our movie is the story of two friends that start an ill-fated dot com with the goal of revolutionizing pizza delivery through online ordering.

On October 12th, we attended the kick-off event where each of the teams randomly drew a genre.

We then had exactly 48 hours to write, shoot, edit, score, and deliver a short film.

Pie in the Sky was the product of our ensuing sleep-deprived but fantastic weekend.

We won the Boston festival and went on to the national 48 Hour Film Project. The film screened at SXSW in Austin, TX with the winners from other cities (which were all great). Directed by Sean Fitzroy. Produced by Vikki Merriman.
