This is the first prototype of a video I made while I was working at MAYA Design. I wanted to explain the term "information architecture", and I thought the best way to do it is by explaining "information" and "architecture" separately, and letting the viewer make the connection.
The idea came from a class I took at Carnegie Mellon called "Graduate Typography". It was my first time working with After Effects, so please mind the quality. :)
When I took the project from the context of a class back into the workplace, I was able to get the help of an amazing illustrator who took over the After Effects portion, and let me concentrate on writing the copy and producing the video.
