I used to try that. The headphone cable would usualy come unplugged, and then stop the song on my ipod. (it happened in Pisa, Florence, and Barcelona. After Barcelona i avoided my pockets.

I dropped the battery cover to my 35mm into a canal in Strasbourg, and couldn't take a photo for the rest of my trip. way back when. 1995. when people still used 35mm cameras... :]
