This is a 1st test of a Panasonic LUMIX DMC FT1 (TS1)
Video was recorded in 640x480 and edition process was to rotate image 180º and to export in DV-NTSC codec and re-compress with h.264 codec.

Hey mate, very nice footage! :)

Where did u mount the camera? I made a similar recording as well but I mounted the camera on the handle bars and ended up with alot of shake.

Camera was monunted in lower part of a Helmet, like this other camera:

Usually handlebars are the worst place, except on easy and fast roads. Mount it in a bicicle frame is better, but the best solution is in helmet or body of ciclist.

I normally use a stabilization software too:

Cool, yeh i thought so, or at least thought it was attached to your chest or something since the footage didnt look like it was that elevated, over your head.

My TS1 should be here tomorrow (Friday) or next Monday, cant wait to take some of these shots hehe.

Medawky, please tell me, if TS1 may take footage more 15 minutes long.
FT1 (european models) is limited to 15 min each
FT1 (japan model) is only limited by memory capacity.

I wish, if possible, hack the firmware... (15 minutes are not enought for some DH) :-(

I didnt end up receiving the camera on friday :(

Oh well, ill have to wait till mon/tue. The first test i do will be the 15min limit and will let u know right away.
