    Very powerful message.
I fast in solidarity of the people in Darfur. I write letters asking people to join us in sending a message that we simply cannot allow this to go on.

Jobs, what is this piece of music, it is so beautiful and haunting. I can't stop listening to it. I am still fasting for Darfur, xx

Liz, the music is from the soundtrack of the movie "the kingdom". it's a danny elfman score and it's called "finale".
p.s. how long have you been fasting?

Thanks! I've got it on Spotify at full blast. fantastic. I've been fasting 3 days/weeks since the beginning. I don't know what else to do. The humanitarian agencies are all in a quandry is seems as to the next step. Everything seemed to peak for world refugee day. The focus has shifted to the elections in 2010 and the recent ruling on Abyei has taken the focus off the Darfur people. There is acute shortage of shleter and food. The rains are flooding everything, including the latrines. The Sudanese 'humanitarian' response since the international NGOs were expelled has been to visit once, in 110 days. There has been no food for over 70 days now. Where is it going to come from? It makes me so frustrated. Have you seen this: vimeo.com/5755401, which documents the Government support to the Jinjaweed and the killings. There was at one time talk of 3 aid agencies being allowed in, under disguise of another label, but I don't know what has happened to that.
