"Derecho" is an instrumental that I wrote while working in North Carolina in the summer of 2000. This video contains three things. 1. A cheesy warmup to "Dust in the Wind" 2. "Derecho" played by me (with mistakes) 3. The original recording, my first ever. I recorded the original at my parent's home in Bunkie. The wind chimes were my Mom's on the carport. The rain at the very end was recorded in their garage during a storm. Mostly natural except for the use of an EBow for the melody. May have to let it buffer in a bit at first. It will skip unless you have at least a 5mb/s connection.
