On Saturday, July 28, 2012, members of the Minnesota Motorcycle Club Coalition and the Confederation of Clubs of Minnesota held a motorcycle rally event benefiting Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. They raised over $4,200 for the hospital. The rally featured helmet safety education, bike reflectors, books, popsicles and tattoos for the patients and families that gathered in the hospital lobby. Bikers took tours of the hospital and gave out teddy bears, donated by ABATE (American Bikers for Awareness, Training and Education). During their visit they also gave patients and families an opportunity to sit on a bike in Star Studio for a virtual motorcycle ride. These generous folks donated their time and money, and for that, Children’s would like to say “Thank You!”
