SCREENED AT RIO CINEMA, DALSTON, LONDON

Client: Hoxton Health
Role: Camera operator/editor/scriptwriter
Production Assistant: Celia Reid

Short film made for Hoxton Health, an inspiring charity established over 20 years ago by local people in Hackney who wanted access to affordable complementary therapies for older people.

Today Hoxton Health's charitable purposes are little changed -

- to offer low-cost therapies to older people in Hackney and on its boundaries, who would not otherwise be able to afford them,
- to help older people living with pain, immobility, or anxiety,
- to run specialised exercise groups that improve the health and fitness of people in their 60s, 70s, 80s and over,
- to run Support Groups for people living with common health conditions, often experienced by older people
to support more frail and house-bound over 70s, with treatments at home.
