The Killer Komandos series started with Rick Colado and Alex Parkinson when they were kids. I started helping out as bad guy in number 2 and 3 and then started shooting and editing for 4 and 5. Basically the premise is to pretty much make it all up as you go. We would start with a general idea and then just roll with. Most of the props were made with cardboard or anything else we could find laying around. Part 5 came about because our good friend Andy Bothwell (Astronautalis) wanted to make a fun silly music video. Instead of just making a music video, I thought it would be fun to do a short film and then make a music video out of that. Rick suggested doing a Kiler Komadoes movie. So that's what we did. We spent a little more time on this one. Instead of the usual shoot it in one day, we shot it over three days and added some budget special effects. Enjoy!
