I made this video for our SIGGRAPH 2012 Talk - "Efficient and Seamless Volumetric Fracturing".
The skull model on the left side was fractured using Voronoi fracture and the one on the right using our Hermite volumetric fracture. As you can see it the one on the right has a huge amount of detail. Also note how much the edge detail effects the result of the RBD simulation. The RBD simulation was done using Houdini DOPs and it was rendered by Mantra.
