Take a stand against the Tea Party!
Protest outside of racist anti-immigrant film screening
Wed., Aug. 8 - 6:30 pm
Rockville Library
21 Maryland Ave, Rockville, MD
The Tea Party of Montgomery County is planning to spread hate and lies about Latino immigrants in the United States by screening the racist anti-immigrant film, "They Come to America," directed by Dennis M. Lynch. The film screening is part of a national tour meant to spread disinformation about the role of immigrants in the U.S.
Last night, the ANSWER Coalition's Campaign to Defend the Maryland DREAM Act joined Justice for Students in America (JSA) to protest the screening of this xenophobic film. Meet us at the Rockville Library today, at 21 Maryland Ave, Rockville, MD at 6:30pm. First come, first served! The idea is to fill up the screening which has a maximum capacity full of immigrants and immigrants rights supporters. Let our voices be heard!
Come take a stand against the racist Tea Party in Montgomery County! Support immigrant rights!
