Animation Sequence Project - Rocketship

My submission for the Animation Sequence Project.

I had some time to kill on a Sunday evening while waiting for Breaking Bad to start so I decided to sit down and bang something out for this collaboration. I wanted to attempt to use only mask layers in after effects and go off of my first idea, not over thinking it. No illustrator, no photoshop, just keyframes and masks. This is the result!
