Added explosions, canon & muzzle fire special effects, as well as credits etc, to complete movie look- any comments are welcome- original movies with details are at vimeo.com/467497 & vimeo.com/467443 - again my Dad, as his hobby, lovingly created from scratch, an exact replica, in superb detail, of a German World War 2 Tiger Tank in Winter colors. The soldiers are 12 inches tall, for scale purposes. Entirely edited in Sony Vegas Studio Platinum 8.0 still within the free trial period- I think I'll ended up buying this! (Shot with HV20 at 24P/Cinemode-)

That's actually pretty dern cool! If you're gonna go with Vegas Platinum, then I highly recommend checking out b&h photo (www.bhphotovideo.com) -- you can buy vegas 6 for $79, and at the same time the Vegas 8 Pro upgrade for $99 -- effectively giving you the pro version for about $50 more (retail) than the cost of the Home Platinum version.

Thanks for your praise and resources- it turns out this isn't the final version-I ended up spending more time adjusting some effects and adding more footage & making a slightly different ending - will post once my weekly upload limit resets

I am just curious, what you can do with this. Hat off to your dad for such great re-creation. How did you animate, the soldiers? part of the RC control?.
If you shoot more do not forget the famous shot,
Tank passing over the camera. Just a wanderfull job.
You know ther is a Tiger in outdoor museum in the town I came from. I often stood there and admired that. Panzer. I should not publish so early, just for a sake
of publishing. Create a little story. Would be amazing.

the soldiers heads are on a program, using servo-mechanisms- my dad has worked in animatronics on some movies and been working with RC models for 40 years. My first posting was all I thought I was going to post- then through the help of other members resources the project kept on expanding- been a learning experience. Anyway the final film (I promise) is now online at vimeo.com/475583- enjoy
