For this video, I pulled out every time lapse, stop motion and live action camera trick that I could think of. The goal was to create a fresh, new direction to take my work to.

Really, really great job. Very impressive work here.

Ha, and I recognize OOF bokeh shot at the beginning as the 101 at the chauenga pass. Love shooting from up there off of mulholland. Same angle even: flickr.com/photos/ace0fclub5/3370729043/sizes/l/

Lots n' lots of very time consuming clever bits with a lacklustre tune behind it for inspiration. This obviously music you feel happy with, to create for.... And nothing wrong with that - the punters like it as you can see but.... somehow you know and I feel that you have great things to do ahead. 'Death Cab for Cute' - I believe this is from the Bonzo's album 'The Donut in Granny's Greenhouse' (polite euphemerism for the flushing toilet in English houses - pre 1960's) the third album I ever bought and I've made four 'pop videos' to their songs - check it out.... Incidentally my logo is a self portrait of me when I bought that 33rpm vinyl album in 1971. It's good fun isn't it - try doing for money - arrrrgh! Ha ha....

magic. have Death Cab actually seen this do you know?
  • Ross Ching 2 years ago
i don't think so... i don't know how to get it in front of their eyes. their contact info doesn't garner any replies. any ideas?
  • John Lewis plus 2 years ago
do what you're doing, getting it in front of everyone else's eyes to start. eventually it should reach them. it's certainly good enough to warrant their attention.

or you could post the link on any official myspace/facebook page. if they have a youtube channel, post it as a video response to something of theirs. considering i'm a death cab fan, i really should know. ha.
