"No where in the world...?"
Well even in your world people do not have ok drinking water and in some areas there are no quality drinkin gwater left in USA. And going south on your continent that picture enlarges.
And the "so western" contemplation about the "none hopeless" situation as "full of energy"... Oh boy, what a great remark for deconstruction of projection, amereurocentrism, colonialisation aso.
Really, the starting point to improve lives goes from JUSTICE and EQUAL RIGHTS at for example trade agreements. What has USA for record in that context? How about "wine for a chance for all"?
Oh, but that would proberbly do much more than alter worldviews...
