One of the finest nags head police officer died the morning i left for bouge banks, he was the first ever nags head police officer to lose their life in the line of duty. When he was responding to a break in at 3 in the morning, he pulled a U-turn to go north, when accelerating he hit a bad spot in the road that tends to flood, he hydroplaned and hit a telephone pole. The funeral had a turnout of over 3000 people most of them cops, posting this only because people should realize the affects of hydroplaning and to slow down in the rain
