This is my lifeproof case I purchased one week before going on a family vacation. The first time i went into the pool for a swim it flooded. I was in the pool for less then 2 minutes when i pulled it out of my pocket for some pictures and saw it was full of water. as you can see from this video, the case is leaking thru the bottom speaker port. I initially checked the case according to the manufacturers instructions and had no leaks. There is no way to visually identify the fail point ,which basically means each time you take the lifeproof case in the water it is a $400 gamble. Lifeproof does not live up to it's advertised claims. Do the research and see for yourself, when it works it is great but when it fails game over and it is failing on people that follow all manufacturer recommendations. I own a dive shop and know how to use all types of underwater housings. I followed all the instructions and inspected the case just before the fatal swim. Even now that I know where the water is coming from I still can't visually find why it is failing.
