We were thrilled with the Sagra which offered the true taste of Italy - a robust passion for regional cuisines that lived in every village and town. This passion was expressed when everyone in the village comes together at harvest time to prepare and shared their bounties with one another through the love of food and wine, family and friends. Everyone gathered at big communal tables to talk, laugh, pass around the platters piled high with food. Chef Jeff Fisher created an outstanding five course menu paired expertly with five Italian wines as offered by Tuscany Distributors. Chef Brian Rosander ('Last Tango in Tremont' and 'C4') made an outstanding cameo and Emerging Chefs' own co-founder Rick Turner threw on the Chef jacket and helped Chef Fisher cook up serious Italian magic.
'Sagra di San Rocco' was held August 3rd, 2012, at the historic St. Rocco's Church.
