Valstagna, hometown of Robert Pontarollo, is the official wildwater centre in Italy. Here many downriver/slalom training camps and tests are held throughout the year, also in winter because water flow never stops. Those sprint (who also includes team sprint for the first time in Italian races) and classic national races are also valid as a selection to join the Italian Team who will compete at the next Europeans Senior in Valtellina (Adda river, ITA) and the Worlds Junior in Buochs (SUI).
