How do you enter a public space and make site-specific designs while communicating the process and products to the locals? Dennis Design Center, by the art group Bureau Detours, showcases how design, craftsmanship and urban studies transforms into useable designs, inspired by local demand and site specific issues. My final project is a guide that communicates how Dennis Design Center is built up, functions and what it leaves behind. The book will contain practical tips on hacking the urban space as well as case studies. It details how to connect with locals, how to assemble the best team, how to communicate your message live, and much more.
